Removing Unwanted Headers and Footers from Printed Forms

A header or footer containing the page's URL or title may print on forms from HRdirect Smart Apps. It's easy to remove this information, but the steps to do so will vary depending on what browser and operating system you're using.

For Windows

Google Chrome

1. Click to Print (or hit Ctrl+P)
2. In the print preview, click on the More Settings link
3. Deselect the Headers and Footers option
4. Click Print button to print.

Internet Explorer

1. From the menu bar, click File > Page Setup
2. Under the Headers and Footers section, set every drop-down option to -Empty-
3. Click OK

Mozilla Firefox 

1. From the menu bar, click File > Page Setup
2. Click the Margins & Header/Footer tab
3. Under the Headers & Footers section, set every option to --blank-- 
4. Click OK

For OS X

Safari

1. From the menu bar, click File > Print... (or hit Cmd+P)
2. Make sure the printing options are expanded by clicking the down arrow button next to the printer icon
3. Select Safari from the drop-down menu
4. Deselect Print Headers and Footers

Mozilla Firefox

1. From the menu bar, click File > Print... (or hit Cmd+P)
2. Make sure the printing options are expanded by click the down arrow button next to the printer icon
3. Select Firefox from the drop-down menu
4. Set all the Page Headers and Page Footers drop-downs to --blank--
