This month it's all about improving your time and attendance experience. We took your feedback and made some important changes to the Time Off Request and Attendance Calendar apps.
Print a Time Off Request in a List or Calendar View
Previously, Time Off Request users were only able to print request forms that show the calendar view. Now, users with any permission level to Time Off Request are able to print a time off request in two convenient formats.
The Calendar View is a summary of the time off request that shows only the calendar days requested off, whether they be full or partial days.
The List View shows more detail of the time off request, including the dates, the hours per day, and the total time requested off.
Time Off Request List View Now Includes the Days of the Week
When a user views the List View of a Time Off Request form, they can now see the day of week for each selected day. This is beneficial when inputting the hours for each date so users know which day of the week they are applying hours to. It is also helpful when identifying days that may need to be removed from the current request. For instance, some employees may request off an entire week but don't need Saturday and Sunday to be included in the request.
Darker Outlines on Printed Attendance Calendar Forms
We heard from several customers that when printing Attendance Calendar forms, it was difficult to clearly see the form due to the light outlines. We darkened the lines for text fields, lines around text areas, numbers on the calendar, and colors on legal public holidays to make your printed calendars much easier to read on paper.
2019 Attendance Calendar Now Available
In the Attendance Calendar app, users are now able to mark attendance events through 2019 if needed. Blank 2019 attendance calendars are also now available for print in the Resources section of the app.
