Virginia Company Policy Update: Employers Required to Provide Employee Records

The Virginia Employee Records policy was updated based on an amendment to the law which has gone into effect as of July 1, 2019. Employers are now required to provide a copy of all records or papers that reflect certain employment information retained by the employer upon written request from an employee’s attorney, current or former employee.
