Poster Guard 1 is dedicated to keeping small, single-site businesses in labor law compliance by providing updated information about the labor law posting needs specific to a customer’s business location as well as keeping them up to date on their poster shipments.
Permissions:
Poster Guard 1 comes with permission levels for only Administrators. Administrators have full access to the application, the same as the Account Owner (purchaser of the app).
Service Location Selection:
Entering the Poster Guard 1 app for the first time, administrators are required to select their service state and zip code so we can send them their new enrollment poster set, including all mandatory federal, state and city/county posters. During this time, they are also inputting their delivery address which can vary from their service location. Customers can choose from the 50 states or Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Once submitted, customers cannot update their service information but can update their delivery address after their account is fully set up.
View Required Posters:
After the company’s information is submitted, the administrator will see a list of required federal and state posters in the My Postings section (right side). They can click on a poster name to view more details about the poster as well as download an image of the poster.
View Shipments:
Administrators will see the status of all poster orders including their new enrollment set, orders created because of a mandatory change, and any replacement orders. The administrator will see if the order is in process, shipped (which will include a clickable UPS tracking number), or on hold. This information will be viewable in an alert on the top of the main Posters page as well as on the bottom of that page in the Latest Changes and Shipments section.
View Latest Mandatory and Non-Mandatory Labor Law Poster Changes:
Also viewable in the Latest Changes and Shipments section are all mandatory and non-mandatory poster changes for the federal, state and local levels. Administrators can click into each change to see more details. Only poster changes that occur after the new enrollment poster set is created will show in this list and it will only go back one year.
View and Download Employee Handouts:
Administrators will also have access to state-specific employee handouts that may apply to their business on the Handouts page. Administrators can view details for each handout as well as download and print any applicable handouts to distribute to their employees.
Suspension Alerts:
If a user’s account is on hold (suspended) due to nonpayment or a returned poster delivery, the customer will receive an alert message at the top of the Posters page. If the suspension is due to nonpayment, we provide a phone number the customer can call to make payment. If the account is on hold due to a returned delivery, we ask the customer to either confirm or update their shipping address within the Poster Guard 1 app which will automatically remove the hold and place the account back in an active status.
Resources:
On the Resources page of the Poster Guard 1 app, we provide additional information on the purpose of the app, how to use the app, where customers should display their labor law posters, as well as a fillable and printable compliance certificate.
Email:
Like current Poster Guard customers, Poster Guard 1 administrators will receive emails whenever there is a mandatory poster change as well as emails regarding their poster shipments. These emails will prompt the administrator to log into the app to see more details.
Tour Guide:
When users access the Poster Guard 1 app for the first time, they will have the option of going through a tour to learn how to use the app, including where to find important informatio
